The cornerstone of the Music Together^® program is our Mixed-Age music class, for children from birth through age 5—and the grownups who love them^®! 

Each week, our teachers lead the class in singing, dancing, and playing songs that range from tender lullabies to boisterous jams using child-friendly percussion instruments. 

• All of our instructors are fully vaccinated. If you are unvaccinated and would feel more comfortable in an online class, please see our online class option.
•  We have a generous “unlimited” makeup/bonus class policy. You can schedule extra classes by using our website's makeup/bonus class scheduler (top of homepage) in any of our indoor or online classes (space permitting). Please stay home if you or your child are not feeling well.
• Our indoor classes will meet in large well-ventilated rooms. At the Vienna Community Center we will meet in the upstairs classroom on Saturdays and the auditorium on Thursdays, at Cuppett Performing Arts (CPAC), we will meet in one of the large dance studios, and at Spectrum we will meet in the Dance studio or the TKD studio (both equipped with some UVC air cleaners).  

• Masks are optional for teachers and families.

• Instruments will be provided by our teachers. If you prefer to bring your own materials, you can put together a 'musical bag' and include the following for each child and adult: some small instruments, a pair of shakers, a pair of sticks, and a scarf.  For your bring-from-home instruments, you can use store-bought or household items like containers filled with rice or lentils as shakers, chopsticks or wooden spoons as sticks, a towel or burp cloth as a scarf.  If you wish to purchase instruments, Music Together Worldwide sells a great kit here.  Please note: xylophones are best enjoyed at home; due to their tonal nature, they can interfere with our in-class music making and we prefer you do not bring them to class.

• Please bring a yoga mat or blanket to sit on at the Vienna Community Center location. For classes at CPAC in Vienna and Spectrum Music School in Herndon, no blankets are necessary but optional. At Spectrum Music, kindly remove your shoes before entering the TKD studio.

• Participation in Music Together classes requires signing a waiver during the registration process.

• We will switch to online classes if VA State mandates changes in current COVID-19 protocols.

• There will be no refunds or credits due to indoor classes moving online if VA State should mandate.

• Class is 45 minutes each week.

• Requirement for all classes: At checkout, all families will be required to agree to our Terms and Conditions, including a Liability Waiver, in order to attend class.  You are responsible for ensuring that any adult who brings your child has read and understands the policies, procedures, and waiver prior to attending the class! Our teachers will not have time to instruct an adult who has not been fully informed of these agreements.

• If class is cancelled due to weather-related issues, class will either go online or be rescheduled for the end of the semester. This will be posted to our website either the night prior or the morning of by 8am. If time permits, we will send out an email but please check the homepage of our website for updates.

In addition to your 45-minute weekly classes, your tuition includes:
